Her Romantic Valentine's Day Gifts - What Can You Choose to Please Your Wife or Girlfriend?
Valentine's Day is, of course, all about romance and love. That gift, or those gifts, for your lady, whether girlfriend or wife, should be a token of your love and devotion, and given from the heart. That is, if you want your affection to be taken seriously!
The gift itself need not necessarily be romantic, but the way it is presented, and wrapped in the surrounding hours of Valentine's Day, should be. However, it does help the romantic ambience of the day if one or more gifts do have the whiff of romance about them, whether it be the scent of a red rose or a Valentine perfume, or some other symbol of love.
One possible way to make the whole day romantic is to package a number of successive gifts throughout Valentine's Day. One possible mix is suggested in Special Valentine Day Gifts For Her.
Valentine's Day, though, is normally associated with roses, especially red roses. But what is the magic number of roses to give that will maximize the romantic impact? A dozen, or 12, roses to some is the most appealing number, such as in the picture below left . Then there was the trend of the "single red rose", which I did read a few years back was probably the invention of British men hit by inflation. Coming from Britain myself, I suspect that story may be true. A poor, lonely little rose is hardly the symbol of a two way relationship of love; a dozen roses sounds far more convincing.

Roses can be used in all sorts of ways that can add a touch of romance, or even spice, to the Valentine's Day proceedings. Scattering rose petals around the bedroom, as intimated by the first picture, is one such way.
Another option can make a single rose even more appealing. A fresh rose preserved in a film of gold is a rather special gift for a woman that takes the rose tradition to a new level of indulgence. What better way to reflect a strong and lasting relationship than to have a beautiful flower preserved for posterity in a glistening gold? Or even silver or platinum? We came across this idea only recently, and what a lovely idea it is. The middle picture shows one such rose, on display in an attractive box, but there is no reason, other than budget, why you should not have two roses, or even that ever popular dozen. Whichever you choose a rose preserved in gold does seem like it will guarantee pleasure for the lucky lady.
